Christmas Craft Creations December Reminder...Make a Scene

and

One of the best reasons I like the new slim line cards is that you can make a real large scene with them.
This one took a while so there are a lot of steps.
From white card stock I die cut the main piece using a die from  Lawn Fawn’s “Large Slimline with Sliders” set.
Onto that piece I stamped the Santa from Stampingbella “Oddballs Santa and Missus” set  and the whole stamp from Stampingbella “Christmas Card Gnomes” using Memento tuxedo black ink.
On another piece of white card stock I stamped the gnomes from Stampingbella “gnomes have feelings too” with the same ink.
These I colored with Copic markers then trimmed them out with scissors.
Next I made masks from Masking Magic using StazOn jet black ink and the Santa and mailbox gnomes.
These I applied to the colored images and placed low tack tape around the stitched edge of the piece.
Using MFT Stamps “Rolling Clouds” stencil and Distress Oxide faded jeans ink I made the clouds.
This I applied to black card stock then a white card stock base card.
After removing the masks I stamped the sentiment from Stampingbella “Holiday FUN sentiments” using the memento ink.
I die cut another main piece of white card stock as I did before but this time I used a die from Sunny Studio “Slimline Nature Borders” to cut the snow mounds.
To finish I glue dotted the gnomes and snow mound piece to the card front.

I am saying goodbye as I post this to the wonderful group I have been privileged to design with at Christmas Craft Creations.
I will still be creating so feel free to follow me but design team work is off my creative table for now.
God bless!

  2. Stunning work Arlene - love this fun scene. Sometimes we need to take time out from team commitments to be able to cope with life.
