Summer coloring...

and

This started out as a CAS card...it really did!
The base card is white card stock that I tape masked to add Distress inks twisted citron, ripe persimmon, candied apple and pine needles.
To the light green space I added the sentiment from Newton’s Nook Designs “Newton’s Melon” with Memento tuxedo black ink.
On another piece of white card stock I stamped the image from the same set with the same ink and colored it with Copic markers.
Next I made a mask and stenciled the image with the red Distress inks and Newton’s Nook Designs “Bubbly Stencil”.
To finish I die cut “seeds” from black card stock as well as the imaged piece and applied them all to the card front.

  1. A fun card Arlene - love the image in the raindrop shape, echoed in the 'pips'. It turned out bold and beautiful
