So honored to have been asked to become a design team member for AAA Cards!
This is my first posting and was so glad as I needed a birthday card.
(Note this could also be used for Valentine’s Day!)
Taking a light grey card stock card I taped it to my Tim Holtz glass mat and brushed Distress Oxide picked raspberry paint, lightly, over the area I masked off.
After punching out a piece of leftover patterned paper with my two EK Success heart punches, I used those as stencils with the same ink but darker.
To finish I stamped the sentiment (unknown company) with Distress Archival hickory smoke ink.
Fab card, love the hearts sprinkled around the card
ReplyDeleteLovely CAS card.

Welcome to the team Arlene - great to have you on board! Super take on the sketch - I love how you used the same pink inkpad for the strip and the hearts - very clever!
ReplyDeleteSuper card and perfect use of the sketch. Love that it has dual use possibilities too.
