I wish my iPad took more equalized pictures of the colors on my cards!
The base card is blue card stock with a layer of white card stock.
On another piece of white card stock I applied pink washi tapes.
This I cut with a die from Simon Says Stamp”Just Because” then cut the backing with the other die and more blue card stock.
These I glued together on the card front.
What a great use of the Washi Tape that we all have collected over the years. You have totally inspired me to get some out and give this a try, Arlene. Great Card! Thanks for playing at Color Hues.

Looking at the thumbnail I thought the background was a single piece of cardstock but then realizing you applied strips of washi to a cardstock panel, I was doubly impressed with the result! The varied designs, sizes and colors all mix so well and die cutting the sentiment from it makes such a seamless image, with the pop of navy. Thanks so much for joining us at Color Hues!
