Christmas Card Throwdown ... July Technique

and

So I am admitting I cheated on this card.
I have been sewing like crazy lately and just didn’t want to look at another needle.
Instead I let my embossing folder, die and stamp do the sewing for me.
The base card is kraft card stock with a layer of red card stock.
Using white linen card stock and MFT Die-namics “Stitched rectangle STAX” I die cut the rectangle then ran it through the Big Kick with We R Memory Keepers quilt embossing folder.
On another piece of white card stock I stamped the Lawn Fawn image from The Stamping Village “Holiday Seals” using Gina K. Designs black amalgam ink.
After coloring the image with Copic markers I applied it to the card with a foam square then applied the red jewel.
