distressing color...


While in isolation I have been enjoying the Facebook Live postings by Tim Holtz.
During the one I just watched he suggested mixing Distress inks and Distress Oxide inks for a background.
I chose colors that went with this challenge.
The base card is white card stock.
The background was done with Distress Oxide mustard seed & Distress blueprint sketch/ mowed lawn on multimedia paper.
Once taped to the card front I die cut the tulips from white card stock using a die from Paper Smooches “Garden Blooms” set and glued them to the front.
To finish I stamped the sentiment from Paper Smooches “Bosom B undying” set with Distress Oxide blueprint sketch ink.

  3. For a second there I thought your post title meant that the challenge colors were causing you distress... LOL, I guess I need to wake up more! I really like the white die cut flowers against the colorful background you made. Thanks for sharing your card with us at CC&S! :)
