Design Defined : “Lovely bright colors bring cheer to small images”.
CASology has honored me by asking me to be a guest designer for this wonderful challenge.
I have many friends who have retired to other states so this card is perfect for them.
The base card is white card stock.
To the bottom I stenciled the Tim Holtz “burst” stencil with Distress fossilized amber and wild honey inks.
A few weeks ago I spent a day playing with Tim Holtz alcohol inks on glossy card stock.
One of the pieces was done with alcohol red pepper, sunset orange and sunshine yellow inks.
On this piece I stamped the mug from Honey Bee Stamps “Tea Time” with StazOn jet black ink.
Once dry I cut out the mug and applied it over the burst.
On another piece of white card stock I stamped the image again with the same ink and trimmed out the tag to glue to the front of the mug.
To finish I stamped the sentiment from MFT Stamps “Cup of Tea” with the StazOn ink.
so good to have you as GD Arlene and with such a fab card. Adore the colours and the gloss on the cup, wonderful CAS card x
