Catch the Bug Christmas in July Challenge...Photo Challenge
One of my favorite movies since childhood is White Christmas.
As it is part of the challenge I chose a scene from the end of the movie when Bing Crosby is behind the tree opening his present from Rosemary Clooney...
This also includes the tree and snow like the photo.
The base card is white card stock with a layer of patterned paper.
After purchasing Bugaboo Stamps “AKV Santa Tree” from their 50% off sale I printed him on white card stock and colored him with Prismacolor pencils and trimmed him out.
To get the shine on the gift, ornaments and stars I used Pilot gold gel pen. Wink of Stella gloss red and Wink of Stella clear gloss.
Next I die cut two snowflakes from white card stock using Tim Holtz “Paper Snowflakes - mini” and stamped the sentiment from Taylored Expressions “Many Mini Holidays” with StazOn jet black ink.
The snowflakes were applied with glue and the Santa tree with foam dots.
We don't often think of 'Santa's' receiving gifts - this is cute Arlene
