The most exciting art of this challenge is that almost every time it has introduced me to a new technique or a different way to use the supplies I have!
In this case I used the following baby wipe technique...
and stamping and die cutting.
The base card is purple card stock.
The main piece is white card stock with the verse from Stampin’ Up’s “Sidekick Saying” stamped with Distress Archival mermaid lagoon ink.
The triangles at the top was made with glossy card stock, Distress Oxide Sprays (mermaid lagoon, & wilted violet) using the baby wipe technique above.
Once it was dry I die cut the piece with Crafter’s Companion’s Die’sire Bordeaux die.
This I glued on.
Beautiful card Arlene. The verse is really wonderful, and the intricate die-cut overlay at the top is gorgeous. Great colours. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up!
