It’s interesting how colors (colours) turn out differently when you use them.
The giraffe, Bugaboo Stamps “Giraffe Blocks”, was printed onto white card stock.
When I colored it my Peekaboo Peach came out more golden, the soft sky came out so soft you can barely see it and the strawberry slush came out so dark it looks like burgundy.
But this is what happens when you try and match the colors with your own medium, in this case Chameleon pens.
The base card is white card stock.
The “newspaper” is a bag from my local quilt shop that I cut the oval from Lifestyle Crafts nesting oval dies.
The verse from Hero Arts “Guess What” set was stamped with StazOn jet black ink.
The giraffe was attached with glue dots!
Yes, I know what you mean about trying to match colours... but for all that this card is a delight - love your giraffe, and a great sentiment to go with the background (recycled) paper
