red, white & blue…

Just recently I purchased Tim Holtz “Crazy Talk” by Stampers Anonymous and knew there was a sentiment that would fit well with this challenge.
The base card is kraft card stock with a layer of red card stock.
The main panel is white card stock spritzed with Distress mica resist sprays.
With more kraft acrd stock and a die from Tim Holtz “Wildflower Stems #3” I cut out the flower and glued it to the card front.
To finish I stamped the sentiment from the “Crazy Talk” set with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.
Next I trimmed it to a flag shape and foam taped it to the card front.

  2. What an imaginative card! Those splatters are so effective and their free form contrasts perfectly with the clean lines of the base and mat. So glad you joined us at The Card Concept this week. Kerry, DT
