coffee…

As I sit here listening to coffee house jazz on YouTube music and breathe the smoky air coming from the Canadian wildfires I am sure that life isn’t perfect.
But then I think about going into my kitchen and making coffee for my hubby and I and I’m thinking it’s a pretty wonderful life, seeing that we are still together after 48 years of marriage!
The base card is kraft card stock.
The main panel is kraft card stock that I applied Distress texture paste through Tim Holtz “Splatters” stencil and allowed it to dry.
Next I applied Distress gathered twigs ink with a blending brush.
Then I stamped the sentiment and images from Tim Holtz “Phrases 2” and “fresh Brewed” with Distress ground espresso Archival ink.
I colored the images with Prismacolor pencils and stenciled with more gathered twigs inks and Tim Holtz “Splatters” & “Burlap” stencils.
