It’s hard to see but the flowers are actually glistening.
The base card is white card stock with a layer of black card stock.
On the main white card stock panel I stamped the image and sentiment from Newton’s Nook Designs “Christmas Cactus with Memento tuxedo black ink and colored it with Copic markers.
Afetr applying it to the card front I applied Wink of Stella clear gloss to the flowers.
Gorgeous card Arlene - the first of my Christmas cactus has just started to flower - it is a delicate, very pale, pink.

A beautiful CAS card! I don't think I've ever seen a stamp of a Christmas cactus--it's a beauty! Thanks for joining us at Color Hues!
ReplyDeleteWhat an usual stamp Arlene but it works so well in this CAS card, I do love a Christmas cactus, even if the OH doesn't! Thanks for sharing at Color Hues. :)
ReplyDeleteI didn't know there were even Christmas cactus stamps available!?! Love it!
ReplyDeleteSuch a clever idea using our bright color palette at Color Hues. I love my Christmas cactus so much and think this card is just perfect! Thanks for playing and my apologies for my late comment, I have been on vacation.
