red, white and blue…

With Memorial Day just around the corner I thought I could make a card that reminds me to remember the true meaning.
The base card is white card stock.
On a piece of watercolor paper I taped off the edges and made a Distress ink background using barn door, prize ribbon and faded jeans.
With more water color paper I die cut the flower from Tim Holtz “Wildflower Stems #3” and the sentiment from Tim Holtz “Friendship Words : Script”.
All of this I applied to the base card.

  1. A great card Arlene - so often on our various remembrance days we look to the holiday, not to the true meaning of the day's significance.
