no peeking...

“The stockings were hung by the chimney with care...”
Not sure if the “no peeking” means in the window or in the stockings???
The base card is white card stock.
Using another piece of white car stock I scored at 1/2” intervals.
With white card green card stock I die cut two windows with Tim Holtz “Window & Window Box” die.
I trimmed the white window to the frame and glued it to the green window.
Onto a piece of beige checkered card stock I applied burgundy card stock and grey card stock to represent the fireplace.
I die cut a piece of black card stock using an oval die from Lifestyle Crafts nesting oval dies and glued it to the front of the fireplace.
On more white card stock I stamped the stocking from Newton’s Nook Designs “Stylish Stockings” set with Gina K. Designs cherry red and Christmas pine ink.
These I trimmed out with scissors.
To get the top in white I stamped the top in a light ink and trimmed them out with scissors, flipped them and glued them to the tops of the stockings then shaded them with Copic markers.
I cut the rectangle, for the window, with a craft knife into the scored white piece and glued and taped all the pieces onto the base card.
To finish I stamped the sentiment from Newton’s Nook Designs “Newton’s Curious Christmas” with Gina K. Designs black amalgam ink.
