The Stamping Village...

The Stamping Village is a cooperative of stamp companies that I enjoy using.
I have two of their sets, so far, one Christmas and this birthday set.
The base card is white card stock.
I have been using pieces of card stock samples that I have and this one is Strathmore pinstripe that I used Tim Holtz “Harlequin Stencil” with Distress Inks, Tim Holtz blending brushes and Distress inks fossilized amber and forest moss to create the piece on the right of the card.
After applying the green card stock strip I stamped the image from The Stamping Village “Happy Birthday” set using Studio Katia’s image with Distress Archival ink.
This I water colored with the Distress inks mentioned above.
Once dry I trimmed it our and foam squared it to the card front.
