25 Days of Christmas tags...Day 3

Newton’s Nook Designs is sponsoring today’s tag challenge and I had the perfect items of theirs for the tag I wanted to make.
This tag is I memory of my Grandma.
She had a tabletop Christmas tree made of pink branches, white flocking on the tips and white shiny balls on the ends.
The base of the tag is white card stock die cut with the tag die from Newton’s Nook Design’s “Fancy Edges Tag Die” set.
Last year doing this challenge I learned to score this “under” tag piece at the top and it worked great for opening with out ruining the main tag.
On white card stock I stenciled the Newton’s Nook Designs “Plaid Stencil Set” with Gina K inks sea glass, Apple mint and innocent pink.
This I die cut with the same tag die.
With another piece of white card stock I die cut the circle for the top of the tag and stamped the image from Newton’s Nook Designs “Newton’s Curious Christmas” with Gina K amalgam ink.
The image I colored with Copic markers and trimmed out with scissors.
Once I applied all the pieces I stamped the sentiment from the same set to the front of the card with the amalgam ink.
Too finish I applied pink jute.

The inspiration came from this tag...
