In my emails this morning I found a letter from a friend and fellow stamper.
It turns out she fell while walking near her daughter’s home and was really banged up.
This card is for her!
The base card is white linen card stock.
On the main piece (white linen card stock) I did the following-
Layered stamping and Heat embossing with Altenew Peony Bouquet, silver embossing powder, gold embossing powder, white jewels embossing powder, and Versamark ink.
Stamping with Versamark ink, silver embossing powder and Dina Wakley Media Handwritten Sentiments.
My choice was to add Nuvo silver lining Crystal Drops.
Such a classy and elegant card and perfect for your friend x. Sorry to hear that she had taken a nasty fall x. The layering of the embossing powders look fabulous and love the monochromatic tones of your beautiful card. A beautiful CAS card with a fabulous technique. Thank you for joining in The CAS Mix Up challenge x

ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous, Arlene! I love that you used metallic colors for the peony, which is so fresh and interesting. You lined up the layers so well to heat-emboss, and the white jewels embossing powder outlines make the image so elegant. This card will sure encourage your friend.

Those colors you chose are simply beautiful. I love the offset design. The silver drops enhanced the design too.
