This February a lovely lady, who is the Mom of one of my dearest librarian friends, is turning 85.
I am sending a birthday card but since she also loves giraffes I am making a set of note cards and envelopes as well.
The card is white card stock with the giraffe stamped on the front with Gina K amalgam ink.
I colored him with Prisma pencils.
Using Inkadinkadoo’s stamping mask paper I cut a mask of the giraffe and placed it over him.
With My Favorite Things Mix-Ables Stencils “Cloud & Make Waves” I sponged Distress Oxide faded jeans and frayed burlap inks for clouds and sand.
To finish I stamped the verse from MFT Stamps “Birdie Brown Greetings Galore” with the amalgam ink.
I love your clouds - the colours of this card are lovely and the stamping and colouring is perfect. Thanks for joining The Library.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautifully tailored note card set, and beautifully made too Arlene
