Putting together different combinations of Distress Oxides is always fun.
This card is white card stock and I stenciled one of the balloons from My Favorite Things Mix-ables Stencil “Big Balloons” using three Distress Oxide inks, evergreen bough, cracked pistachio and shaded lilac.
On a strip of white card stock I stamped the verse from MFT Stamps “Beary Special Birthday” with Gina K amalgam ink.
This I taped at an angle to the card front.
Now I stamped the bear with the balloon from the same set with the amalgam ink and colored hi with Distress markers to match the balloon colors in the background.
Then I glued him to the card fron.
Next I spritzed water on the card front and blotted it off with a paper towel.
