I am honored to be asked to be a guest designer for the CAS Mix Up February Challenge.
My first inspiration comes from...
and my other inspiration is Valentines Day!
Hubby and I really LOVE cupcakes so this will be his card this year.
The base card is white linen card stock and down the left hand edge I scored lines using an old mouse pad, stylus and ruler.
The cupcake was die cut using Paper Smooches “Mini Cupcake” die with red and white card stock.
With the embossing stylus and mouse pad I added lines to the cupcake base and shading lines to the icing.
The base is sponged with Distress fired brick ink.
The icing sponged with Distress antique linen ink.
The verse from Impression Obsession’s “Cake” set was stamped with Distress Oxide fired brick ink.
Using foam tape I applied the cupcake over the scoring lines.
Such wonderful dimensional die cuts and a super sweet card for DH. Fabulously CAS card, great design and love that gorgeous cup cake die and the sentiment stamped in the red....Thank you for being our super guest designer this month x.
