Today it finally turned cold in Western New York and I am so happy.
It means I can take the day and stay inside and stamp all day!
I find those days to be my most inspiring.
The card uses a die set I have had for a VERY long time but never used.
It started with a piece of cream card stock folded in half and each of the elements (MFT Die-namics “Tea Party”), two cups and the tea pot, place on the edge but just outside the fold, then cut.
Using my Tim Holtz glass mat I lined up the elements with all the folds on one of the lines on the mat.
I applied glue to the back edges and glued them thoroughly first.
Then I glued the front edges.
Next I stamped the verse from MFT Stamps “Cup of Tea” using StazOn jet black ink.
To finish I stenciled the hearts using MFT Mix-able Stencils’s “Full Of Heart” with a sponge dauber and Distress abandoned coral ink.
A brilliant card.
