The New CAS Stencil Challenge got me so excited that I had to use another stencil for this challenge.
The card is white linen card stock.
On the front I used The Crafter’s Workshop “Aspen Trees” stencil with Derwent Inktense (very sharp) pencils.
Then I added the water with a fine water color brush semi dry.
To finish I printed out the Graciellie verse and applied it to the card front.
Beatuiful card Arlene. The stenciled aspen trees are so pretty done with your coloured pencils. I have not tried using pencils with stencils yet, but now I need to! :) LOVE that sentiment! Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Watercolour! xx
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful use of the stencil Arlene - love the way you used the water to move the pigment and soften the colour. A wonderful card

Your stenciled trees are so pretty along the side of your card, Arlene! There's that fantastic verse again. I love it! Thanks so much for sharing with us at CAS Watercolour!

ReplyDeleteYour card stood out on their challenge so popping over to see how it was made. Very clever indeed, love it.
