CAS (clean and simple) are my favorite cards to make.
They are not because I am lazy, as these cards take a lot of playing with to get just the right placing to keep pure “white” space.
The base card is white linen card stock that I corner rounded n two opposite corners.
The heart, Newton’s Nook Purr-feat dies “Darlng Hearts”, started as a piece of water color paper with Distress Oxide worn lipstick ink sponged to it.
Next I splattered water* onto the sponging and blotted it off with a paper towel.
I die cut the heart first, then using the “love” die that comes in the set I cut out a partial toward the bottom of the heart.
The black card stock love was cut separately then all the pieces were glued to the front of the base card.
*I use my Tim Holtz spritz water bottle by taking off the top and flicking the tube that feeds the water up to the sprayer!
What a nice CAS card.
