...wedding wishes 1 ...


Since June will be wedding cards for the card ministry I belong to I decided to get a head start.
The base card is white card stock scored 2-1/8” from each side to make a gate fold card.
To the inside I added a layer of gold card stock and then a layer of white card stock with the verse from Stampin’ Up’s “Yippee-Skippee” stamped in Encore Ultimate Metallic gold ink.
It was on to create the front.
On each “gate” I applied a piece of gold card stock then, after running the white pieces through the BigKick with Sizzix Tim Holtz embossing folder, I applied the white card stock.
Using gold printed vellum from The Paper Studio I used the...
...instructions to produce the hearts for the card front.
Attaching one on the left gate and one on the right they overlay just enough to hold the card front together.
To finish I added a stick on pearl to the center of each heart.
