here chickie, chickie...

As Spring is finally coming to my part of New York State, I took the granddaughter to our local farm store to see the “chickies”.
The base card is cream card stock.
The next layer is kraft card stock.
The next cream layer I ran through the BigKick with the Cricut Cuttlebug “chicken wire” embossing folder.
I die cut to circles from kraft card stock and cream card stock that had been embossed with the “chicken wire” embossing folder.
On a strip of kraft card stock I stamped the verse from Stampin’ Up’s “Best of Cluck” with Distress marker ground espresso.
The chicks are from the same set and I stamped them with StazOn timber brown ink and colored them with Prisma pencils before trimming them out with scissors and glue dotting them to the card front.
