I found a felt bag at JoAnn's in the clearance with a mail box on the front.
This bag now hangs on a doorknob in the front hall, that will contain a card for my granddaughter, from time to time.
The perfect set is by Stampingbella called "Irish Chicks" and will make the best St. Patrick's Day cards for our little darling.
However today I found a use for the challenge.
The base card is white linen card stock.
From another piece of the card stock I cut a square with MFT
Die-namics "Inside & Out Stitched Square".
The rainbow is stamped with Distress hickory smoke ink that I stamped off once on scrap paper then applied to the square.
The coloring was done with Prisma pencils.
On a strip of white linen card stock I stamped the verse from the set with the Distress ink and applied all to the base card.
You have one lucky granddaughter! What a sweet idea to leave her a special card every now and then. Your card today is very sweet,
ReplyDeleteof course how could you go wrong...it's got a rainbow on it! lol
Thanks for playing along with us at Addicted to CAS.
I agree with Doni.. what a lucky granddaughter and I know she will love this card. The stitched frame around the rainbow was a great idea. Fabulous card. So glad you joined us at ATCAS this week
