pink...

This card has a bit of a story attached...
I am a quilter, too and I found this paper for the MFT Color Challenge and it reminded me of all the wonderful quilters from days gone by.
Quilts back then were mostly made of pieces of old clothing that were good enough for a quilt but not good enough to wear.
So my little MFT girl has a piece of the patterned "quilt" paper as her dress.
.
and

The base card is grey card stock.
On the front of the base card I placed the "quilt" patterned paper.
There is also a strip of black card stock.
On white card stock I stamped one of the girls from MFT Stamps' "New Best Friend" using StazOn jet black ink.
She was colored with Prisma pencils, except for the dress!
The dress was paper pieced by stamping the girl with the StazOn to a part of the patterned paper.
Then I delicately, on a self healing mat with a craft knife, trimmed out the pieces of the dress and glued them to the colored image.
Next I trimmed her out and glue dotted her to the card front.

Usually I don't do anything fancy inside, however, this time I wanted to use a stamp that one of the lovely ladies at MFT Insiders on Facebook sent to me.

Cuddles and quilts just go together!
