I've been wanting to try the "camouflage technique" for some time now and since the Allsorts challenge wanted a non-patterned paper background, I thought this was a good time.
The base card is black card stock.
I made this background with the Distress stains and watercolor paper.
To make this background I smooched the colors onto my craft sheet, spritzed the sheet and laid the paper into it.
There were a few empty spots that I dropped more stain on to achieve the droplet effect.
Once it was totally dry I die cut the piece with MFT Die-namic's "Love" die.
Under the die cut area I stamped the verse from MFT Stamps "Essential Sentiments" using StazOn jet black ink.
Next I taped the piece to the front of the base card, gluing the center of the "O" to the base card as well.
Then it was time to camouflage by putting thin pieces of double back foam tape to the letters and applying them back to where they came from.
To finish I applied three enamel dots by Paper Studio.
