During the eclipse...

...while my granddaughter napped I decided to space create!

This card was such fun to make using a white linen base card I stamped the alien from Paper Smooches "space cadet" set using Adirondack pitch black ink.
Using a post-it note I made a mask for that image then used painters tape to mask the strip over the top.
The sky was made by sponging Distress Oxide faded jeans and black soot then spritzing it and blotting with a paper towel.
After removing all the masks and coloring the alien and his ship with Chameleon pens, I stamped the verse from the same Paper Smooches set with the Adirondack ink.

  3. This is the cutest little alien I've ever seen! Great job on the sponged background and great idea to keep it to a simple strip of color--it really pops and is perfectly CAS! Thank you for joining us at The Paper Players!
