It wouldn't fit on my normal A2 card so I pulled out a legal size envelope.
That lead me to cut a black base card with a layer of kraft card stock on the front and inside.
On a piece of cream card stock I stamped the "Mindy" image by Julie Nutting using StazOn jet black ink.
On a deep plum paper and a beige flowered paper I stamped the same image.
I cut out the dress, bustle, shoes and head band from the papers and glued them, as per the picture, onto the doll.
I used my paper trimmer to trim just up to the dress edge and the one shoe and finished with scissors.
I stamped the verse, unknown company, on the outer main piece and the other half inside on a cream layer.
I finished my taping the main piece to the front of the card.
Very cute, and a wonderful way to use a big stamp and still keep everything beautifully CAS! Love that you kept the sentiment going from outside to inside also. So glad you could join us at CASology this week!
