A mother's love...

was so evident in my living room yesterday when ,my daughter-in-law came to pick up her daughter after work!
Our front door opened and my granddaughter looked at me and said, "Mommy?" then ran to get her hug.

Since my D-I-L has red tulips in front of her house I just had to make her this card.

While shopping at Hobby Lobby I found this paper pack in the clearance section called "basics" by Pebbles.
They are wonderful bold prints that are already A2 size cards that are pre-scored.
I chose the black and white zigzag for the base card.
On another piece of white card stock I stamped the image from Unity Stamp Co.'s "have a little faith" using StazOn jet black ink.
I colored it with Prisma color pencils and smoothed it out with stumps and Gamsol.

Hint-For those of you not familiar with Gamsol, and because I am using it so much, here's a picture...
Image result for gamsol solvent

I cut out the image and distressed the edge with my Memory Makers tool then ran it over my Adirondack pitch black ink pad.
I stamped the verse (unknown company) using the Adirondack ink then trimmed it out, distressed it and inked those edges.
To finish the card I glued the pieces to the front of the base card.
