So I have this forsythia bush...

...and thanks to my granddaughter I didn't miss it blooming this Spring.
Every day it isn't raining she requires us to walk our 6 acres and this past Monday we found the forsythia bush in full bloom, which lead to the inspiration for this card.

The base card is brown card stock with a cream piece taped into it for a later sentiment.
The main piece is a piece of watercolor paper with the flowers from Stampin' Up's "Echos of Kindness" stamped using Distress old paper ink.
Back to my Derwent Inktense pencils for the flowers with my watercolor brush.
Once it was dry I added the verse from the same set with StazOn timber brown ink.
I used the Memory Makers distressing tool around the outside of the main piece and flicked Inktense color off my watercolor brush to finish the card.
