I dug deep into my scrap bin but still had to add the base card I couldn't find there!
The base card is a beige textured card stock with a white center.
I chose this because I wanted to sand the card for that antiqued look.
Yes, I said sand it with a very fine sand paper, lightly over the top and around the edges.
I also sanded the next layer, a grey textured card stock.
The main layer is white linen card stock that I dusted with Distress brushed corduroy ink using one of my stipple brushes.
To this piece I stamped the verse from Unity Stamp Company's "...succulent salutations" using Distress pumice stone ink.
I cut a circle with my circular die and cut it in half, then stippled the two Distress inks, mentioned before, to give it an old look.
I glued this to the bottom left of the card front.
On cream card stock I stamped the flowers from Unity Stamp Company's "Big Summertime Bouquet" with StazOn timber brown ink for a softer look.
I colored it with Prismacolor pencils, trimmed it out with scissors and stippled it with a bit of both of the Distress inks.
Beautiful card! Love those flowers.
