As Sarah Ballou approaches her sewing machine, she stops and pulls the letter from her pocket.
Though browned with age and marked with the kisses from her own lips, she is still able to read those special words.
Her tears start again as she reads the last written missive from her beloved Sullivan...
This is one stamp I will never give away.
I do not remember the company but it is a large background stamp with the actual hand writing of Sullivan Ballou.

I used aged cream card stock and stamped the letter in StazOn jet black ink.
The lips were from Recollections "Valentine's Day" set and stamped using Distress worn lipstick ink.
I then crumbled the card for a tattered look and using a distressing tool by Memory makers I aged the edge of the card.
To finish I brushed, with my Judikins Color duster, Distress ground espresso ink all over the front.
This is just perfect for our challenge and so very lovely! Thanks so much for playing along at CCCCB!
