Ever feel this way with your crafting?
Not one more ink or cut or stitch or anything...
...right me neither!
But their are times I feel down and so do my friends so when I saw this challenge on Simon Says Monday Challenge for "Spread Your Wings" I knew exactly what set I would use!
and
It was really fun to get back to an old technique with a newer tool.
I love using chalk pencils, but I hate that they cover the ink.
SOOOOOOOOO...
I pulled out my Misti tool, my Faber-Castell chalk pencils, linen card stock and StazOn jet black ink and went to town.
The base card is white linen with a layer of blue linen.
The top piece is white linen that I stamped with one of the cool chicks from Stampingbella's "the chicks "who couldn't even",
I placed that piece in my Misti tool and stamped the chick with StazOn jet black ink.
Next the chalk pencils colored it in without moving it from the original stamping area in the Misti.
Yes, the lines were dulled by the chalk but I inked up the image again and stamped it and viola' it stamped over the chalk and made the image lines clean and crisp again!
This piece was then attached to the blue linen piece with glue dots.
So cute and original and says so much without a word... Thanks for joining us at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge.
