Sudden illness in the family and couldn't get to the craft room made my creative juices stagnate!
I will start out slow with a clean and simple, until the juices start flowing again!
I started with a white linen card stock base card and stamped the snowman from Unity Stamp's "Snowbody Warms my Heart" set using Versmark ink and dipping it in clear embossing powder.
Then is was time to heat tool it.
I cut a mask from text weight paper using my circle die and sponged Distress ink faded jeans.
Using the verse from the same set I stamped it on the front of the card using the faded jeans ink and done!
What a lovely design! I really like the offset sentiment, and the snowman is just fab! Sorry to hear about the illness in the family though. Hope all's well now. Thanks for playing along with us at Less is More :)
ReplyDeleteWow What a fun snowman and a perfectly inky BG which shows off the emboss resist technique perfectly. I hope all the family illness has disappeared by now and thanks for taking the time to play along with us at Less is More this week. Sarah
ReplyDeleteGreat card! I love the snowman and the way he's set on the bright blue, circle background. xx

ReplyDeleteLove your gorgeously CAS monochrome design. That's a great snowman. Glad you're well enough to start crafting again and that the family is well.
