Happy Card Making Day...

I decided to do challenges instead of sewing today to celebrate
"National Card Making Day".

The first was a pick one or both and I decided to go with the sketch as well as the game.

For the game I chose ink sponging, sequins and orange.
For the sketch I chose to flip it upside down.

I started with a piece of white linen card stock for the base card.
I also used another piece of white linen card stock for the front piece.
I dug through my Taylored Expressions Dies and found "Shade Tree Cutting Plate" and cut a mask with text weight paper.
Using Adirondack inks in "mushroom" and "butterscotch" I lightly stippled the colors onto the front piece.
Back to the die case and found "Grass Border Die" by Taylored Expressions and cut out three of them with green plaid paper and glued them to the bottom of the front piece.
Now for some stamping, I pulled out "Peek-a-Boo Pumpkins" and the coordinating die set.
I colored the pumpkins using Distress markers "carved pumpkin" and "peeled paint", then cut them out with the dies.
I glue dotted them onto the left side of the front piece.
On another piece of white linen card stock I stamped the verse and cut it out and trimmed the corners.
I layered it onto the front piece and glue dotted the entire front piece to the base card.

Card one for card making day done!
