AAA Card Challenge #74... Masking

The base card is black car stock.

I trimmed a piece of red card stock and punched the drips with my Martha Stewart punch.

While away for the day my Stephen found this post card advertising a haunted something or other.

Using one of my Sizzix frame dies I cut an inner frame piece of the head of the zombie out.

Then using the frame I cut a black outer frame piece.

I flipped the card over and using my Tim Holtz stencil to mask part of the card I made the spider web then trimmed it out.

 I layered the red piece onto the base card, then applied the cut and masked piece of the card.

Once that was finished I stenciled the word "wicked" from the same Tim Holtz stencil.

 I layered on the framed zombie and added red crystal eyes...creepy.

 

This is SO not my style but we have to keep in mind the people we are making the cards for!!!
