Got some new dies...

I found a real deal on the Tim Holtz Crazy Bird dies and just had to order them.
I have the crazy birds and the crazy cats but I find the birds are hard to cut out so the die makes it so much easier.

A dear friend's hubby is having a very hard time at the moment.
Health issues that are so very hard on him.
He loves birds.
The color challenge is blue and brown...I hope you can see the brown in the background.
The background is a Stampin Up stamp that I inked in blue one way and brown the other to create the plaid effect with Distress pads.
The crazy bird reminds me of my blue jay that peeks in every now and then.
The blue jay is a Tim Holtz crazy bird colored with Distress markers.

Hopefully this birdie will bring a smile to his face.

  2. What a super card - the background looks great and sets off the fun Crazy Bird perfectly! I can see why they'd be hard to cut out. Thank goodness for matching dies! Thanks so much for playing along, and best wishes to your friend's husband :)

  5. This is terrific! The panel in the background looks great and it is lovely to see the octagon shape for a change. I just adore those crazy birds and I agree that the dies are needed to cut them out. Thank you so much for joining us at Less is More this week.
