Spring colors for this challenge.
The base card is textured pink card stock with a white card stock layer.
On water color paper I stamped the Tim Holtz background stamp and once dry cut it out before applying it to the card front.
From more water color paper I die cut the stems using Tim Holtz “Wildflowers Stems #1” dies then applied Distress inks with water.
The sentiment, Paper Smooches “Thinking of You”, I die cut three times from heavy white card stock, glued them together and applied them to the card front.
The textured and shaped background is lovely! It makes a great backdrop for that striking flower and the bold die cut words. Thanks for sharing with us at The Paper Players.
ReplyDeleteThat background is very cool....love the grungy look but you managed to keep it fresh with the challenge colors! The flower is beautiful and that big bold sentiment really stands out! Thanks for playing with my colors this week at the Paper Players!
