A trip to Staples to hand in my dry markers and pencils for recycling provided a great clearance item for my card making.
On white card stock I applied the washi tape of brown and hands that I found at Staples…really cheap.
This I cut to the sketch size, backed with brown card stock and applied to a kraft card stock base card.
On more kraft card stock I stamped the sentiment from My favorite Things “Rainbow Greetings” with Memento rich cocoa ink.
I trimmed it out with scissors and glued it to the card front as per the sketch.
Arlene...loving that small piece of DSP you created in the center with washi...so fun! Such a great use of found materials. Thanks so much for sharing with The Paper Players!
ReplyDeleteI like the simplicity and boldness of your design. That piece of DSP holds everything together. Thanks for playing along with us at The Paper Players. :-)
ReplyDeleteThat hand-patterned tape was a great find Arlene - it makes a fun background for your sentiment. Thanks for playing along with my sketch challenge over at The Paper Players this week!
