rusty thanks…

So lucky to volunteer at my local craft resale store, Crafting for Good, in North Chili, New York.
This coming Saturday is our anniversary of setting up in a store front and because it’s Small Business Saturday as well we are having a HUGE sale!
While putting out the wood stamps, which will be 10 cents a piece, I found a couple that I wanted to try so I brought them home for today and will return them for the sale!
The base card is cream card stock that I layered with brown and rust card stock.
Next I applied a piece of water color paper that I had made a background of Tim Holtz stains and mica stains and stamped the image from The Artful Stamper using Distress gathered twigs ink.
This did not come out strong enough so i used a brown fine line marker to pull out the details.
To finish I die cut the sentiment and it’s background using dies from Spellbinders “Yana’s Layered Script Sentiments” with more cream and rust card stock then glued it to the card front.

  1. Love this Arlene - the rusty background is stunning, and the image is perfect over it. A beautiful die cut for the sentiment
