glimmery birthday…

Not sure if this is exactly a technique but it is to me…creating backgrounds with mica sprays!
The base card is cream card stock with a layer of rust card stock and another of cream.
The main panel is Distress mica sprays on water color paper that I embossed with Tim Holtz 3D “Foliage” embossing folder.
With more cream card stock, more mica paper and the My Favorite Things “Hand-Lettered Happy Birthday” dies I created the sentiment and foam taped it to the card front.

what a beautiful card, especially for people who do not like flowery and/or ornate images. This is perfect for any occasion and would make a great card for men. thanks so much for posting this lovely card.
