What fun to combine stamping over stenciling.
The card is white card stock.
In the upper left hand corner I stenciled through Paper Smooches “Succulent Stencil” with Distress Oxide spun sugar and kitsch flamingo inks.
Leaving the stencil in place I stamped through it with a sentiment stamp from Paper Smooches “Sentiment Sampler” using Distress Ink picked raspberry.
I found the clear stamps to work very well for this method.
On black card stock I stamped the sentiment from Paper Smooches “Christmas Sampler” using Versamark ink and heat embossing it with white embossing powder.
To finish I die cut the sentiment using an MFT Die-namics “Stitched Oval Word Window” die and foam taping it to the card front.
Nicely done. The succulent stencil provides just the right spaces to showcase your lettered stamp. The colors are vibrant and happy. Thanks so much for sharing your card with us at CAS Mix Up.
