Okay, so it’s not exactly like the sketch!
First I turned it upside down.
Then I used an image that was too big so I had to place the sentiment OVER the image.
But it’s close enough…at least I think so.
The base card is teal card stock with a white card stock panel down the center.
On watercolor paper I made a background with Distress Oxide cracked pistachio and mermaid lagoon including Distress Stain blueprint sketch.
Once dry I stamped the image from MFT Stamps “Beach Buds” using Memento tuxedo black ink then trimming out the images.
These I glued or foam taped to the white panel.
On black card stock I stamped the sentiment from the same set with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.
Next I die cut it out with a die from MFT Die-namics “Essential Stitched Sentiments” and foam taped it to the card front.
Just perfect and I think the image size was just right! I love the ink effect of the watery blues on your cute fishies! Thanks for playing over at CAS Colours & Sketches this week!
