let’s talk...

So many people have talked about Facetiming and Zooming through this pandemic but I am keeping in touch in other ways.
Letter writing, card sending and of course calling people on the phone and just talking are great ways to keep in touch.
The base card is cream card stock with a large circle cut from love Nicole “Vintage Halloween” patterned paper using Lifestyle Crafts nesting circle dies.
This I glued to the card front and trimmed the edge to match the sketch.
I used another piece of the cream card stock and stamped the image from Hero Arts “CL502” with Colorbox Crafter’s Pigment ink black.
Next I heat embossed it with clear embossing powder then die cut it with one of the nesting circles.
This I foam taped to the card front.
To finish I stamped the sentiment from the same Hero Arts set using Memento tuxedo black ink.

  4. I agree with you Arlene: letter writing and card sending are lovely ways to keep in touch - that don't leave you with the headaches and exhaustion of group zoom chats! I love your vintage phone image and love that you popped it up over that striking paper. Thank you for sharing your card with us at CAS Colours and Sketches this week. Vicky x

  5. Technology has been a lifesaver for many during this pandemic, however, I cannot handle on the screen time...I agree letter writing, sending cards is so much more soothing and personal. Love your take on the sketch - very bold - the theme of communication is perfect. Thanks for joining us this week at CC&S
