and
Before I get out into my garden in the morning I HAVE to have my cup of coffee and thanks to travel mugs I can take it with me!
With so many ideas for this card I don’t know where to start.
The base card is yellow card stock, trying to use up colored pieces of card stock as base cards.
With black card stock I made a layer and die cut the coffee cup top with Sizzix Tim Holtz “Fresh Brewed” (Sponsor Ellen Hutson) die.
The colored pieces for the strip and the coffee cup were done when I was cleaning out my Tim Holtz retractable brushes on white card stock.
Every time I make a card with stencils or make a background with the brushes I clean them off on white card stock.
This gives me great muted piece to use in other cards.
On the strip I stamped the sentiment from Altenew (Sponsor Stamp Simply) “Coffee Talk” using Memento tuxedo black ink.
On the other piece of the brushed card stock I stamped all over with an image from Altenew
“Floral Motifs” using the Memento ink.
This I cut out with the die, glued on the top and foam taped to the card.
ha ha love the sentiment.. pretty cup and perfect card for the coffee hop.
