Here I am again with the technique from the last posting, using the Cut n’Dry supplies from W-A-Y back!
With the bunny die from Tim Holtz “Mini Bunny & Bow Set” I die cut two pieces of the
Cut n’ Dry pad in opposite directions.
After heating the bunnies, individually, I pressed them into the My Favorite Things Stamps “Magical Mandala Background” (2018) stamp.
On black card stock I stamped the bunnies with Hero Arts unicorn ink, that I like the way it makes the bunnies grey.
Once dry I trimmed them out with scissors.
The base card is black card stock.
To that I added a piece of red card stock that I cut with a die from MFT Die-namics “Blueprints 27” set.
Next I cut two hearts from MFT Die-namics “Pierced Heart STAX” with red and white card stock.
On the white heart I stamped the sentiment from MFT Stamps “I Miss Your Hugs” (2020) using Memento tuxedo black ink.
This I glued to the card front and then foam taped the rest.
Note: This card is for my cousin who volunteers at a bunny shelter and has recently had some health issues.
Very sweet! I like the heart within a heart. The socially distanced bunnies are perfect for the sentiment. Thanks so much for joining in with us at Retro Rubber Challenge.
ReplyDeleteAww!! What a pair of cuties, love the design on the bunnies' bodies, and the sentiment is spot on for these times.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing with us at RETRO RUBBER.
Stay healthy and safe.
