Snow is all I think of in January so that is the inspiration for this card.
Even us design team members have a struggle sometimes with the challenge.
I don’t do ribbon or twine...unless it’s on a tag!
But I found this little image n my stash and wondered if I could replace his stamped scarf with ribbon?
The image from Penny Black “the wonder” was stamped on a very thick piece of card stock that I had in my stash with Memento tuxedo black ink.
I colored it with Prisma color pencils and then trimmed it out with a craft knife and self healing mat.
I used 1/8” tape to get the ribbon to stay on the image while I made the card.
the card is white linen card stock and I die cut two snow amounts with dies from MFT Die-namics “Stitched Snow Drifts”, though I used the unstitched pieces.
Next I stamped the sentiment from the same set with the Memento ink and applied the drifts with tape and foam tape.
To finish I glued the colored image with glue dots and trimmed the ends of the ribbon.
What an innovative way to use the ribbon Arlene - love it, it is a fabulous result!
